Dan Harris
Dan began his career as a title closer, bank closer and business development specialist with a busy Real Estate Law Firm in New York. In this position in the early 2000's  Dan sharpened his skills as an expert in real estate transactions specifically related to bank document accuracy and compliance.

Dan's ability to review and identify inconsistencies, mistakes and potential violations in already closed mortgage transactions has saved his clients tens of thousands of dollars.

Dan has gone on to own and operate Mobil Settlement, LLC a full service title and escrow agent in New York. He continues to stay abreast of industry news with notable contacts with lenders, servicers, politicians, and regulatory officials.

Dan has conducted training for large corporations, small loss mitigation firms, and law firms in the areas of real estate title issues,  loss mitigation, short sale negotiation, and loan modification techniques and practices.

Dan is active in a number of professional organizations and has donated his time to non-profit organizations in an effort to help homeowners retain their homes. including Dan and his staff of loss mitigation professionals treat every client with respect and integrity.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dan Harris formed The Home Retention Group in 2008 to meet the needs of homeowners and lenders in the midst of the home mortgage crisis. With an eye towards resolving delinquencies and helping homeowners and lenders to reach long term solutions that avoid foreclosure, Dan and his people have kept hundreds of homes off the auction block.
